When reporting a problem, include your macOS version, the Meetless version, what you were doing, and the message you saw. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or private meeting recordings.
Common questions
How do I record a meeting?
Open Meetless and start a recording with the microphone and system audio sources you need. Allow the permissions macOS requests. Pause when needed, then choose Stop to save the recording on your Mac.
Does stopping a recording start transcription?
No. Stop saves your audio locally. Choose Transcribe separately when you want a transcript. Meetless explains cloud processing and asks for consent before your first upload.
What does Premium include?
Premium unlocks Meetless-managed cloud transcription. Recording, reading saved transcripts, meeting-scoped Ask, and citation playback remain separate from Premium. Ask uses a supported provider configuration you choose and may have its own account requirements or costs.
How do I restore Premium?
Use Restore in Meetless with the Apple Account used for your subscription. Restoring an active subscription recovers access; it does not reset your transcription allowance. One subscription can enroll up to three Macs sharing the same allowance.
What happens if I run out of transcription time?
Your saved audio stays on your Mac. If Meetless reports insufficient transcription time, check the required time, remaining allowance, and reset information in that message. When more time is available, choose Transcribe again; the app does not automatically restart a blocked request.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Manage your subscription through your Apple Account. Follow Apple’s instructions for canceling a subscription. Deleting Meetless does not cancel your subscription.
Where do my meeting files go?
Meetless keeps recordings, saved transcripts, and meeting history in its data area on your Mac. Exported files stay in the location you choose. See the privacy policy for cloud processing and retention details.
